Happy Monday folks! Enjoyed my weekend in DC, and by the time you get this, I’ll be well on my way back to Kansas City. But, my heart as always is in North Carolina and so is my next book–Get Around North Carolina. Exclusively as an e-book for now, think of it as a mix between the Lonely Planet, Google Maps and a friend telling you how to get somewhere using landmarks. I’m on the move, so no preview today, other than the lovely image above of US 64. Get ready to learn more about it tomorrow and check out your news for this Monday:
Governor McCrory on the Greensboro/Trinity bill– He’s not a fan of it at all.
These pipes from Greensboro could be the key for the megasite on the Guilford/Randolph border.
The next big debate in the General Assembly is over the sales tax. Right now that debate is in the Senate.
Also being chatted up in the Legislative Building, Medicare reform.
And finally, Raleigh’s skyline could be expanded, in a different section than before.
